Terms and Conditions: Return and Refund Policy + Shipping Guidelines

Return and Refund Policy

Freyer LLC cannot process returns on custom orders. Please double check measurements for every custom order. If the product is damaged on arrival make note on the bill of landing.  If nothing is noted on the BOL we will not be able to assist in correcting for damages.

It is the receiver’s responsibility to inspect and make sure the order is correct compared to the bill of lading and packing slip at the time the order is received. All claims must be filed by the receiving party. Freyer LLC takes no responsibility for lost or damaged shipments that are not inspected properly and noted on the BOL at time of delivery.

If return of goods is possible due to the item being a standard stocked product, we will offer a refund or exchange within (14) days of the shipment date excluding any shipping, insurance, restocking charges (if applicable) or other charges where applicable.

Special Packaging and Labeling

We make every attempt to follow special packaging and labeling request, most times with no additional cost. However, we have begun to analyze each request based on the time, expense, and frequency to determine if an additional charge may need to be added. If an additional charge is required you will be advised accordingly prior to preparation of the shipment.

When a shipment leaves is processed it has the following:

Small packages: Shipping address label is applied to each package. Each shipment will have a packing slip applied to one of the boxes.

LTL Shipments:  Pallet Shipments will have at least one label on each pallet; one packing slip is supplied per shipment and attached to one of the pallets. Each skid will be securely packaged to insure the product arrives safely.

LTL Shipments: Loose Shipments or roll goods are sometimes not packaged on pallets. Each piece in these shipments will be labeled and one of the pieces will have a packing slip applied.

If you are not satisfied with the product you receive, E-Mail us immediately at Sales@Freyerllc.com so we can handle your concerns and contact you to discuss a refund or replacement.

If you have decided that you do not want the merchandise after it has been shipped, but before it arrives, DO NOT REFUSE THE POSTAL DELIVERY. If the merchandise is refused you will be liable for brokerage charges and duty incurred upon its return.

Mail in original packaging whenever possible, if you are sending several items, please pack them so they do not damage each other.

Merchandise returned without first obtaining an “RMA” (as per above) will result in a credit to the account of the original purchaser in lieu of a monetary refund. The product must be in new, unused and unworn condition, unless noted on the BOL.

Damaged Product Policy: If you receive goods in a damaged condition please inform the carrier (Post Office, UPS , USPS, FEDEX agent or Common Carrier) immediately. Sign the bill of lading as products damaged whether it is prepaid or collect to you.

Freight Terms

All of our prices are product prices and do not include freight charges. Our products vary widely and shipping charges are affected by a number of variables. Freight charges are determined based on five factors: F.O.B. Point (where the item ships from), Destination Point (where you want it shipped to), Shipping Method (carrier transporting the shipment), The Merchandise (physical dimensions, weight and quantity which determine the shipping class) and Fuel Surcharges (caused by rising gas prices). Each of these factors are explained in greater detail below.

Unless called out on your quote PP-ADD applies which is a standard industry term for shipping the product on our account then adding the shipping charges to your invoice or credit card after it ships.

F.O.B. Point: This is the point the item ships from. Freight charges are calculated from the nearest F.O.B. Point to the Destination Point. Many products ship directly from manufacturers stock or from the manufacturer’s distribution point.

Destination Point: This is simply where you want the item shipped to as indicated by you as the “Ship To” point.

This could be UPS, FedEx, USPS or a common carrier (trucking company) such as Old Dominion, R+L, Roadway etc. As a rule of thumb your order will be shipped through Fedex if possible. However, some items are too large and/or too heavy for Fedex to handle. These items normally ship via common carrier. The carrier we select for you depends on the destination you specify. We will leverage our special rates and long standing relationships with these companies to obtain the best rate possible for you and your destination.

The Merchandise: As mentioned above, The Merchandise you are ordering is a big factor in determining the shipping method required. Physical dimensions and weights dictate the shipping classification which in turn tells us which carriers can handle your shipment. We will explore the options available to obtain the best rates for you. Orders involving multiples of the same product or multiple different products shipping to the same destination will be packaged in such a way as to obtain the lowest possible shipping cost.

All LTL shipments will be prepaid/add, and then added to your invoice unless otherwise specified. If you choose to ship via 3rd Party, please provide us with the 3rd party address.

Other Carriers: Please specify desired carrier if not on above list. These shipments will ship COLLECT or THIRD PARTY only. Please provide us with a 3rd Party address if needed. If using a logistics company please provide company name, phone number, and contact.

NOTE: We have experienced numerous shipment delays when using a non-preferred carrier or logistics company.

For orders over 10,000 pounds we will find you the best negotiated rate possible. If you have specific instructions for orders of 10,000 pounds‐Full Truckloads please provide us with that information.

Overseas, Canada, and Mexico Shipments

Please provide us with shipping information, carrier and customs clearance information when the order is placed. If you do not have that information we can help arrange that for you. You must provide us with an invoice to ship product across the border. Please note this should be identical to what you are charging your customer if we are shipping directly to them for you. Otherwise if we are shipping to you directly, we will provide our invoice. Note: All orders shipping overseas, Canada, or Mexico via LTL must be shipped on HEAT TREATED PALLETS. You will be advised of the charge prior to shipping. The charge is based on the going rate of HEAT TREATED pallets.

Small Packages

FedEx is our preferred carrier of shipment for small packages. UPS and Parcel Post are also available.

All FedEx shipments will be prepaid/add, and then added to your invoice.

We will make every attempt to ship the most affordable way between LTL and FedEx.

Note: We do not use FedEx 3RD PARTY or COLLECT as a standard method of shipment. Additional charges apply for these shipments unless previously negotiated.

For FedEx shipments going overseas, Canada, or Mexico please provide us with an invoice if shipping to your customer directly. Otherwise, we will provide one for you.
