Loading dock gates help to prevent workplace accidents by providing a visual barrier at the dock door. This Ideal Warehouse Innovations model has a sturdy construction making it warehouse tough and its bright safety yellow makes it stand out for all to see. The dock gate is designed for simple installation and reliable operation. Three gate arm lengths are available with the adjustable gate arm to fit the most common dock door sizes. The three size options include 8’(2.5m), 9’(2.7m), or 10’(3m). The IWI loading dock gate also features an easy to use LOTO (lock out tag out) system that clearly shows when a dock or door is out of service.
MEETS THE STANDARD
At 42”(1067mm) the DockGate helps to satisfy OSHA Standard 1910.23(5): Railing Specifications. The dock gate is easy to LOTO. The loading dock gate takes a standard padlock so that it can be easily integrated into your existing LOTO protocols.
SIMPLE INSTALLATION
Installation is a breeze and the loading dock gate’s adjustable arm, which allows for three convenient door width options; 8’(2.5m), 9’(2.7m), or 10’(3m). See drawing for more information.
EASY OPERATION
To close the gate, simply release the arm from the locked position and pull down into place. To open, the arm can easily be moved back up and locked into place.
